Bill Is A Fucking Jackass

Standard

When it comes to politics, I generally lean towards the left, but don’t consider myself pigeonholed to a tag like “liberal” or “democrat”.  I have an ability to see our government for what it is… a group of power hungry elitists, mostly lawyers or ex-lawyers, running the country based on the financial interests of their cronies and lobbyists that line their pockets.  It’s just another business, except we get to finance it.

That said, we, the tax paying public, should be able to hire and fire these public servants as we see fit.  WE elected you into office and if you refuse to do your job we should be able to replace you with competent people that will run this country.

This piece, Bill Is A Fucking Jackassperfectly explains the scenario that’s unfolding between the powers that be in Washington right now. We should be able to immediately replace these people with substitutes, or even permanent replacements.  Yet, we sit by, idly, glued to the television watching shit like Cupcake Wars, Duck Call Rednecks, Honey Boo Boo and which latest terrorists our elite military robots can kill.

But, alas, we don’t have these options available to us.  We’re stuck under this totalitarian fiefdom of religious zealots who think poor people shouldn’t have a right to inexpensive healthcare. Just let that sink in… there is a group of people, who make and enforce the rules in this country, that will essentially go on strike and shirk their job duties, WHICH WE PAY FOR, because they don’t want people to have access to a healthcare plan.

Bill might be a fucking jackass, but he’s a fictional entity in a story designed to simplify the problems in our government.  The reality is much more grave and, should the healthcare laws be reversed, sets a dangerous precedent for the future.  It signifies that the will of the people, the foundation of voting and having a voice, are null and void in the face of the elite lobbyists.

Good luck.  Don’t forget to DVR Dancing With Celebrities tonight.
